Hi, Im worried about the circled area in the picture of my lip after undergoing lip reduction surgery 12 hours ago.It has no red tissue on the area above the stitch. Would there be a permanent scar?

Hello, large lips regardless of how they were caused can be reduced in size by lip reduction surgery. This involves removal of a partial portion of the lip with incisions hidden towards the inside of the lip. This is done under local anesthesia as a same day procedure. Thanks.
