How Long Does It Take for the Skin to Reattach to the Fascia?

The skin should attach fairly quickly to the fascia after abdominoplasty. If it does not fluid will accumulate creating a seroma.

The skin itself does attach to the fascia, but the underlying fat attached to the skin does. By six weeks if all is healing normally this has been accomplished. All the best.
