I would like to ask for your opinions on wehther or not I appear to have long face syndrome. I personally believe I do because I have retruded lower jaw and suffered from dental crowding when I was a teenager. I opted out of braces because I was scared that I was going to get bullied at school (I went to a rough school). A few years ago I made the now obviously stupid decision to actually have both of my canines removed because they looked like vampire fangs and I just hated them so much but there was no money for any correction. I know realise that this is probably the worst decision Ive ever made and regret it deeply. What I would like to know is wether it looks to you like I have a case of long face syndrome and if there is anything at this late stage (Im 27) that I can do to fix it. BTW I would consider surgery if I could afford it so please mention any surgical proceedures that you are aware of. Also, would it be possible to get canine implants to replace the ones I had pulled. The narrowness of my upper arch would mean that I would have to get it expanded to make room for implants. Is this possible?

Answer: Need Lateral Cephalometric X-ray tracing to determine facial bone dimentions
This debate has been raging for decades. There is no right answer. Ideally, you want to limit any cement under the gums, so theoretically if you can achieve implant placement into the jaw in such as way that you can screw in the abutment and crown, this would be ideal. However......this is not...
It is not generally recommended to replace two teeth with a single implant. The molar region is the most important area to have one implant per tooth missing. The bite forces are too great in the molar area to have one implant support two teeth. Nature gave you two roots on...
Hazel, this happens to be a great question as only a healthcare practitioner performing Dermal Fillers and Dental Implants would be best suited to take on your case. One should always begin with the more permanent type of restoration and in this case, it would be your dental implants....
