Is it possible to only dissolve some filler?

I had fillers 3 years ago and it seems that my cheeks have fallen some. A little migration as well. I am considering dissolving them. I would like to dissolve some not all. Just to bring down the puffiness. I have heard so many horror stories about dissolving. I am looking for someone with a lot of experience in this. Can some be dissolved and not all! Can it be that precise? Thank you

Unfortunately, you have provided little history and no photos. So, it is very difficult to accurately answer your question. It would be important to see what kind of migration you are referring to, which may not be migration at all and simply age related loss of volume. Secondly, it is important to know what kind of filler was used: permanent, semipermanent, or temporary. For example, the duration of the benefits of even robust HA fillers used for cheek augmentation may last only 1.-1.5 years. So, the descent you are experiencing may not be from migration, but from natural loss of the filler over time. 
And finally, as to your question of whether a dissolvable HA filler can be partially dissolved, the answer is often it can often be when carefully performed in expert hands, using appropriate dilutions of the dissolving enzyme. You would be wise to seek consultation with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist injection expert. Hope this helps and best of luck.
