Will messing up post care after microneedling case permanent scarring or discoloring? (photos)

Question

I received PRP microneedling with 2.0 mm on Friday at 6pm. I received SOME post care instructions but only regarding 24 hrs after. On Saturday night I lightly and fatally washed my face with my murad vitamin C cleanser and reapplied aquaphor and vitamin E oil capsules. Then on Sunday noon, I attempted to again wash my face and I noticed all my skin rubbing off ! I freaked out and tried to just get rolled dead skin off my face. Now I have two tones of skin and raw patches.

Hello,
With any procedure, it's all about the post care.  Make sure any provider gives you detailed follow up instructions and also has easy access to the instructions as like you mentioned, it can be daunting to remember it all.  You definitely want to think gentle until full healing as occurred, including sunscreen, no acids, no scrubs, and nothing harsh to the face.
We always go through a detailed consult and send all our clients follow up emails with post care instructions.
