Will microneedling help these pitted scars on my cheek? (photo)

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Acne scars need a combination approach for long-term improvement. We often use:- Injectable fillers like Bellafill and Sculptra (with or without subcision) for atrophic, indented scars. - Subcision for depressed, tethered scars. - Vascular lasers like Yellow laser, Aerolase, excel V, or IPL for redness or thick acne scars. - Lasers such as Fraxel, Erbium, CO2 or fractional radiofrequency (Venus Viva, Skinfinity, Intensif microneedling RF) for textural issues and superficial scarring. - TCA CROSS and punch excision for deep ice pick scars and narrow box car scars.

I would do Micro needling with PRP ( it will help you heal and regenerate new cells) and do a combination of chemical peels to maintain 

Microneedling is a great option for acne scars, though typically multiple treatments are needed. Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. Through this process there is improvement in skin texture and firmness, as well as reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks. You can couple microneedling with PRP (platelet rich plasma) for quicker results and a faster healing time. 

I think a combination of TCA CROSS and fractionated laser or microneedling with or without PRP will help your acne scars. 

Hi, we use radio frequency microneedling, morpheus8, its a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production. It works very well on scars. You will probably need at least 3 treatments if the scars are deep.
