How long after breast fat transfer is it okay for breasts to bounce?

I’m 8 weeks out of the fat transfer to breast surgery. Is it okay to walk without a bra on and let the breasts bounce? I already asked my surgeon but she didn’t give me an answer.

Thank you for your question. It is a good idea to have a Bra support for 12 weeks. It takes 3 months for fat transfer to breasts stabilize. More conservative you are in the initial phase, better rate of fat take. Good Luck!

I ask my patient not to bounce or go without a day time bra for 3 months just to be more secure and let the fat heal.

Thank you for the question. At 8 weeks after surgery your activity should be close to normal. If you are still quite swollen I would continue to wear support. I would recommend checking one more time with your plastic surgeon office for clarification of activity.
