Would a week be long enough to resume consumption of alcohol? I'm going to Europe for New Years and I can't resist a good bottle of wine or champagne. How long before my trip should I stop accutane to avoid complications?

Thank you for your question. Accutane stays in your system for about one month. If you drink in moderation (1-2 drinks) this should likely be fine if you have a healthy liver. Accutane and alcohol are fine - as long as you don't do it in excess - even when you're on the pills. Keep it to a minimum and it's just fine. So, enjoy your trip without worries.
