How Long After Accutane Can I Resume Consumption of Alcohol?

Would a week be long enough to resume consumption of alcohol? I'm going to Europe for New Years and I can't resist a good bottle of wine or champagne. How long before my trip should I stop accutane to avoid complications?

Thank you for your question. If it is due to ingrown hairs, try not shaving the affected areas and see if that improves it. The doctor can also prescribe a topical antibiotic that can be applied to the pimples to see if that can reduce the redness and inflammation. Accutane is more for treatment...

Accutane does not make you "age faster". Sun damage does. So if you want to use Accutane, which is a fantastic medication, it's important to make sure you use sunscreen every single day (which you really should do anyway).
