I have indents on my forehead where the veins are. Larger veins seen in the legs are often reticular veins. Often, there is a problem with the veins in the groin that results in the larger leg veins. Before treatment, a venous ultrasound is recommended to evaluate the veins as treatment of the underlying cause is essential.
