Had sclerotherapy on my ankle (>8 months). Last week, a new doctor treated the same area. During the treatment, blood filled each injection site & left me with dark marks like deep bruises. The past week, I wore compression stalkings all day, the marks have faded but now the skin has the appearance and texture of a scar. Im concerned this doctor damaged my skin - I did not have this side effect with my previous doctor. Please advise if this is normal and/or result of improper technique.
I had the RFA done about a week ago. I have been wearing compression stockings post procedure. When I run my hand over the area i had the ablation (mid-thigh to near groin) I still feel numbness. The numbness is more prominent over and around the area where the cut was made to insert the laser. I also feel the pain when I am going up the stairs and especially when I bend my knee... How long more will it take for numbness and pain go away? Thanks
I have little scabs but the swelling has calmed. Will the redness go away? Also, it doesn't look like it's had any positive effect on my spider veins, is there a chance they will fade as the redness goes (if the redness goes!)?
I just had a schlerotherapy session last week, I was instructed to wear bandage or stockings after the treatment. I only wear the bandage/stockings for like 2-3 days because I need to go to work..and I can't wear those things when I'm working. Is there any effect if I only compressed my legs for 2-3 days?
I had scleratherapy a week ago the same day a spot on my ankle was red very irritated and hurt a week later it still is sore and getting worse now it has a blister and skin is darkening I had someone at doctors office look at it and they did not know what it was and suggested it was from my shoe but my shoe does not come up that high then they said it was maybe from the ace bandage after procedure but it's been a week and getting worse I would like to treat it right away if I knew what it was
I have had both GSVs and Lower SVs closed as well as pelvic closures. Now I want my legs back! After sclerotherapy of several reticular veins I have spider veins everywhere branching off of the bruised injected reticular veins. It has been 1.5 weeks. Is this normal and will it go away?
