What can I do to hide or fix my tailbone and butt crack? (Photos)

Question

I had an awful surgery 1 year ago where i had butt implants put in and they got infected and the incisions opened fully. I had the implants removed 8 weeks later and everything was fine. Healing was good and no complications after implant removal. Over the past 6 months my spine has protruded and my but crack area has lost volume and you can see and feel my coccyx spine?!!! Would trying implants help push out and fill ny spine buttock area?

Thank you for your question.An in person evaluation would be best. Based on photos, a possible scar revision with some fat grafting may help to correct the problem.

Sorry to hear of your previous misfortune with buttock implants. However if you can get up enough courage to go through the procedure again, you will likely find that it is your best and only permanent option to help roll up that upper inner buttock cheek and create more of a fuller/deeper buttock crack. Thus, concealing more of your tailbone in the process. Infections can and do happen with any and all types of surgery. If buttock implants are performed by an expert, the infection rate can be as low as 0.5%. Glad to be of help.

This procedure would require finesse of an experienced surgeon.  I would most likely perform a scar revision with or without a fat transfer to fill in whatever depressions is left after the scar revision.  Please be sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well known for it.
