At which week do you lose the most volume after a bbl, im at 4 weeks post op and im curious to know if i will lose any more fat now and at which point do you stop losing the volume??
Answer: Which week do you lose the most volume after BBL? 4 weeks post-op and I'm curious if I'll lose more fat? About 50% of the fat that is transferred lives and becomes a part of you. After a six-week healing period, the fat that remains has obtained a blood supply and should be well supported. The results immediately following surgery will be the largest due to swelling and lack of fat resorption. The buttock will continue to decrease in size for the first few weeks. At about 6 weeks the results are permanent. What you see is what you get.I have seen patients after a year or two and the pictures reveal that the gain is permanent. Perhaps this is due to injection technique, harvest technique, amount transferred. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift About 60% of fat from the transfer is retained and the results are permanent. The size will change with your weight just as the rest of your body does. In other words, the fat acts like it was naturally there. You can get a good idea of the final result after 6 months.

Answer: SWELLING IS A TEMPORARY SIDE EFFECT AFTER BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT. Hello PPBBL, Congratulations on your recent Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure! BBL maximum results will take up to 6 months show. Some amount of bruising and swelling is expected and it will disappear with time. Your body may look swollen for months, but after 6 months you might appreciate your new and amazingly contoured figure. I would recommend you wearing specialized compression garments for 4-6 months and getting at least ten lymphatic drainage massage sessions in order to completely alleviate the swelling and discomfort. Implementing healthy eating habits and regular exercise (taking advantage of your new increased metabolism) is essential to keep stimulating weight loss and avoiding retrieving the rendered fat. Hope this is helpful! Dr. De La Cruz.
