My surgeon plans on doing some lipo above my scar and revising the vertical scar as there is some loose skin above the vertical scar in January when I’ll be 6 mths post op. However he is adamant the long horizontal scar cannot be lowered, even if I wait till 1 year post op. Will Lipo result in some loose skin? I would like the scar lowered by 1 inch, is it really impossible to achieve this?

This looks like a pocket of infection or fat necrosis. I agree that is could be die to a retained suture. Usually deep seated sutures are absorbable so with time this should no longer be a problem. However I would definitely see a local PS who can advise.
Thank you for sharing your question. A number of patients will experience an elevation in their blood pressure when seeing their doctor but if your other measurements are within normal limits there is no additional risk to you with surgery. Hope this helps.
Thank you for posting your photos with your interesting question. It appears that you have some excess skin, subcutaneous fat and possibly muscle laxity. It would be interesting to see your before photographs too. I recommend that you have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon...
