A spot appeared on my head 6 months post op in the recipient area. I placed a heated flannel to bring it out as instructed by my doctor. Whilst applying monoxidil I touched the spot; I felt no pain. Unfortunately, it bled more than expected. I stopped the bleeding and it scabbed over. The scab recently dislodged whilst combing my hair; there was no bleeding, but 4 hairs came out with the scab

Transplanted hairs, once it grows out would behave like normal non-transplanted hairs.  If you accidentally pull one out it should grow back.

Hello and thank you for your question about hair regrowth after a hair transplant procedure. If you have had a hair transplant, and the transplanted follicles have healed and established themselves in the recipient area, you should expect them to behave as your other hair follicles would. The hair follicle should grow a new hair if one is pulled out in a few months. Schedule an in-person consultation with your performing board-certified facial plastic surgeon if you have more questions about hair loss after a hair transplant procedure. Good luck! - Elbert T. pulling out a hair transplanted graft at 8 months will not cause loss of the hair and it will usually grow back in 6 months or so
