Will transplanted hair regrow 6 months post op if pulled out?

Asked By:doncole in London, GB

A spot appeared on my head 6 months post op in the recipient area. I placed a heated flannel to bring it out as instructed by my doctor. Whilst applying monoxidil I touched the spot; I felt no pain. Unfortunately, it bled more than expected. I stopped the bleeding and it scabbed over. The scab recently dislodged whilst combing my hair; there was no bleeding, but 4 hairs came out with the scab

Answer: Transplanted hairs, once it grows out would behave like normal non-transplanted hairs. If you accidentally pull one out
