But for some reason i have a double gluteal fold. I have started weights training and noticed growth in that area but still have a double fold that is asymmetric. Is it possible for surgery to help with this? I know it is meant to be a difficult area to fix...
Answer: Gluteal Asymmetry In my opinion this is not a double fold, but more likely that your right fold is lower than your left which is more to do with anatomical differences between the left and the right gluteus and muscle fat distribution. In some cases a very experienced technique of Liposuction may improve this, however, to me this present a very difficult case and is unlikely to be resolved without a lift, but would leave a scar in the gluteal fold.

Answer: How to get rid of a double gluteal fold? I am 5ft 4, weigh around 47kg. Thank you for your question. Although you do have some mild asymmetry of the lower buttock area, you still have a very attractive buttocks. I have extensive experience in infra-gluteal thigh lift which I believe would be overkill for your situation. I think that a scar in this area would be less attractive than what you have currently. I do believe that performing a couple sessions of Coolsculpt on the side which is lower would be beneficial. Best wishes to you.

Answer: How Do I Get Rid Of A Double Gluteal Fold? The infra gluteal fold tends to be weak on some people, and it is not unusual to have some asymmetry in these folds. Creation of an infra gluteal fold or, in your case, a higher infra gluteal fold requires your finding a Board Certified plastic surgeon with experience in this area. The infra gluteal fold creation is actually just an extension of the medial thigh tuck described by Ted Lockwood MD of Kansas City. The fold requires a creation of an indentation matching the contra lateral side. This indentation, in my experience, is created best by very strong permanent sutures that anchor into the periosteum of the ishial tuberosity and into the SFS (superficial faschial system) on either side of one's incision. As you can see, even from the complexity of the terms, you are looking for a uniquely trained plastic surgeon. You may want to start your search by looking for Board Certified plastic surgeons showing experience in body lifts.

Answer: How to get rid of a double gluteal fold? I am 5ft 4, weigh around 47kg. Hello dear! Thanks for the pictures and provided information as well. Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for fat transfer to fix your problem, and I think you'll get very good results. l recommend you to make an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a proper answer and to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)

Answer: Double gluteal fold I agree with one of the earlier responders that the best way to elevate and create a gluteal crease is by anchoring the fascia to the ischial tuberosity. Having said that, I cannot say that I would recommend the procedure. In the best case scenario, it makes your folds more symmetric, but comes at the expense of an incision across the gluteal crease. The scar there tends to be problematic. Tension is placed on the incision every time that you walk, exercise, or simply just sit down. This can produce a wide, suboptimal scar, and I have even seen migration of the scar lower on the thigh, ultimately deteriorating what was initially a good surgical result. You obviously take pride in your figure and you may want to continue to do your best maintaining your body with a thoughtful diet and healthy exercise regimen. Good luck.
