Woke up with a huge indent above my right butt cheek, can it be fixed? (Photos)

I don't know how a depression like this could appear suddenly, but in person exam and a good history may shed some light on that.  Assuming that this a benign contour depression, such as could occur after trauma or an immunization, the treatment  would be fat grafting. There are many techniques harvesting, preparation and re-injecting fat as a graft, but basically it involves harvesting some fat with liposuction from where you do not need it and taking it will not cause a depression, cleaning and filtering it and reinjecting it into the depression in one or more sessions. Usually works quite well.  You should consult a board certified plastic surgeon

It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal butt image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your buttock will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. Liposuction of your lower back and fat transfer is also helpful as an adjunct to implants. Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon.

Dear serenabean96,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. Based onyour photo, you might benefit from fat transfer. It is best that you visit a board certified plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

of course it is highly usual for something like this to happen just overnight without any pre-incident trauma to the area or injections (such as cortisone). It would depend on a more thorough history over the last several days or weeks as well as a physical exam to better assess what is going on and give recommendations from there. If it persists over the next 3+ months then fat transfer may be considered. Glad to help.

Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for fat transfer to fix your problem, and I think you'll get very good results. 
l recommend you to make an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a proper answer and to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Hi SarenaI'm sorry to hear your concern.I would focus more on how this happened as this would determine how to approach it. Have you have gluteal augmentation and what are the 'shots' you refer to? Did you recently sustain trauma to this area? Are there any other symptoms such as surrounding swelling, redness, fever and so on?The answers to such questions would help and you should see a board certified PS for a full in-person evaluation. In terms of a solution once the problem is identified, an option would be fat grafting to address the contour deformity which should work unless there's a significant underlying problem.I hope this helps....
