How do I resolve my uneven eyebrows? (photo)

Question

I am 22 years old and have uneven eyebrows (pictures attached). As you can see the lower eyebrow (left on the picture) is considerably lower and a different shape. What options do I have, and what could the cause be?

You can try botox and if the results are not enough you can have a mini brow lift done with consideration of hair loss in the future. There are several ways to do this and should be discussed with a very experienced brow lift surgeon.

Hello th793,Thanks for your question.There are two options for your particular situation.One option is to apply Botox to the lower eyebrow to cause it to lift a little and peak like the other side does.The other option is a simple mini browlift on the lower side.  The incision can be placed up in the hairline and it can do a good job of microadjusting your brow position.I would recommend that you speak with a facial plastic surgery specialist in your area to learn more about these two options.Good luck,Dr. Shah

TH793, I agree the right brow is lower than the left.  You have a few options:1. Do nothing and accept the fact that we are all asymmetric.  This is not a bad option for many.2. Consider Botox to the left side to lower the brow.  It won't be dropped all the way, but will be less uneven.3. Consider a brow lift to the right side.  The best way to make the brows even is also the most invasive.  I perform direct lifts which work great, but have the downside of small scar line.  Since your brow is thick the line should be well hidden after about 6 month.Cheers

At 22 years of age, it is best to try Botox first as the most conservative treatment for asymmetric eyebrows. If you've tried and failed medical therapy with Botox, consider surgical browlift. There many different  surgical techniques in order to attain symmetry.

To correct sagging, uneven eyebrows and smooth deep forehead creases and frown lines, a brow or forehead lift is the perfect solution. Given you age, Botox may be a great alternative before looking into the brow lift.  Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your desired results and how best to proceed.Best wishes!
