Removing dead skin using tweezers (1 year after rhinoplasty). (photos)

Dear Doctors I was trying to remove dead skin around my nose using tweezers internally and externally. However I accidently pinched the skin of nose with the tweezers, it did hurt for a second , and seems a little bit swollen. My question is did I permanently damage my nose and is this swelling permanent? Your sincerely

Thanks for your question. Since you are only 13 days post-op, the swelling that you are describing sounds like a normal part of the healing process. The tissue in your nose experienced trauma during your surgery, and the result is swelling. Most of the time, external swelling goes down...
