Nasolabial folds seem to be deepening. (photo)

Question

I am 36 years old and weigh less than 90pounds. I am worried about deepening nasolabial folds but would like to avoid fillers if possible. Is there anything else that I can do instead? I have acne prone skin so struggle to find anti aging products that don't cause break outs.

You will start to notice the NLF folds more as you age.  Since you are very slim, you will notice the lines in your face more than someone with a heavier face.  If you gain some weight, it would help your face.  The other option is fillers.  THere is nothing in a jar that is going to fill in the creases.

Good morning!It would be difficult to correct your nasolabial folds without some sort of filler-either your own fat or a prepackaged product.  The issue is loss of some volume in your face, and replaceing that volume is the only way to soften your folds.I hope this helps

The only effective way to reduce the lines and folds that we develop with age is adding volume. That is typically either hyaluronic acid, Sculptra or fat transfer. I would recommend adding volume to the apple of your cheek and some to the cheekbone with a smaller amount in the nasolabial fold.
