My doctor has advised me to go to the gym after one month. Can I do minor exercises such as push ups, sit ups and pull ups before that? Maybe not all in one go, but lets say 40-50 push ups in the morning?

Answer: Push ups I would check with the doctor but in general with FUE transplants you can return to normal activity after 7 days.

Answer: Exercise after hair transplants Be sure to check with your surgeon for his or her specific recommendations. The main issues with regard to exercise is preventing sudden changes in blood pressure that could affect the grafts. For patients who had follicular unit extraction procedures (FUE), I advise return to light cardiovascular activity at day 8 and light weights at day 11. Heavy weights at day 14.For patients who had strip surgery (FUSS), I advise return to light cardiovascular activity at day 12 and light weights at day 15. Heavy weights at day 21. The main issue with FUSS type procedures is proper healing of the donor site.Push ups sit ups and pull ups are best avoided for 11 days -14 days for FUE and 2-3 weeks for FUT (Strip surgery).Please check with your surgeon.
