It totally depends onwhy you are taking it and what is recommended by your surgeon and you primarycare physician or whoever manages that medication routinely. You just need toask those physicians. We can't really tell you if you need to be off of that ornot in this forum.
For prescription medications it is best to check with the prescriber. Only your prescriber knows why you needed it and whether it needs to be discontinued for surgery.
