After breast augmentation/lift, one nipple is very painful when it's cold. Any suggestions?

Augmentation and minor lift 2 years ago. Blood supply was not interfered with. Neoprene ring was removed one year ago which relieved the pain in the areola, but the right nipple is still very sensitive to cold temperatures. It will turn white and then purple. Both nipples are alway erect, but the left is not painful.

to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource
when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns.

Having said that, I am sorry to learn about your pain. It seems like you are
having some nerve sensitivity and vascular phenomenon going on. Do you smoke? If you do I would stop and see if this resolves.  As for the sensitivity, you should not shy away from touching the nipple, by touching it the nerve will eventually calm down. If you keep it too protected, it tends to take longer to resolve.You are a year out from your last surgery so hopefully you may still get some more relief over time.If you feel something is wrong, you
should absolutely call your PS.
