A year ago I had MOHS surgery to remove a small BCC. Unfortunately the surgeon had to remove part of my lip. This has left me with a step in my vermillion border, persistent underneath swelling and a drooping lip. I am uncomfortable with the swelling and disappointed with the cosmetic outcome. Please could you advise if there are any treatments available to help and if you would recommend a revision of my border? I am worried I could make my lip and above scar worse if I interfere anymore.

Hello, and I am so sorry to hear about your accident! Hopefully you are otherwise feeling better. The swelling in the upper lip mucosa that has persisted for three months may require excision of the damaged tissue with re-approximation of the underlying muscle to get you the look you desire. T...
One - a chin implant could be a nice option. I do these through the inside of the mouth in the office. Two - your nose starts low. That is, we could add some cartilage or tissue to the top of your nose. That will balance your face better in the profile view.
