I had Juvederm Volift in nasolabial folds and cheeks and have had eye nerve pressure. Did it damage the nerve?

Hi Natasha,Best to see your injecting physician for evaluation of your concerns.  At this point there is no danger of migration of the Juvederm, but if your symptoms are very bothersome you make wish to have some of the Juvederm dissolved.  Good luck and be well.Dr. P

You need to return to your injector. If the filler is causing an issue it can be removed with hyaluronidase which is a product that breaks down hyaluronic acid. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon

I would recommend you return to your injector if you are experiencing discomfort and pain. There usually is swelling after you have a hyaluronic acid filler which could be contributing to the pressure. I would not worry about the filler migrating at this point. However, if you area having discomfort I would see your injector and you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.

Unless he injected right close to your nose, the chance of migration of the juvederm into a vessel is very slim. Most likely your symptoms will go away soon and no further problems should happen. Sleep comfortably. You're not going to change the outcome by now.
