Are these tear trough deformities? Is it likley that one injection will be enough? I have put a white dot to where the hollow shadow ends as it may not be so clear on the pictures. Does this extend down to my cheek therefore needing more than one injection? (I also have some treatment cream on one of my eyes so you may see a slight white line)
Answer: In person evaluation Honestly, without an in person exam, it is hard to say. So, my advise would be for you to schedule a consultation with either a board certified plastic surgeon or cosmetic dermatologist in your area (link below) to discuss which filler would best fill in your tear trough area. Best, Dr. Nazarian

Answer: Volume augmentation of the tear trough You do appear to have volume loss in the tear trough region. A complete evaluation would be required to determine if injections should be administered in the midface is well. I strongly recommend not using juvederm in the tear trough region due to the amount of swelling this product can produce. Other products such as Restylane, Restylane silk, and Belotero are better options in the tear trough region.

Answer: Tear Trough Fillers -- Try Cannulas I do not use juvederm in the troughs, there is often way too much swelling. it is best to use restylane or belotero here and do small increments over time. once you get to full correction (often i do use juvederm to the cheeks to improve the troughs) then you will likely need touch ups every 6-12 months. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Tear troughs don't need much Hello. Most tear trough deformities can be improved with small amounts of a hyaluronic acid filler like Restylane or Juvederm. Generally, only 0.1- 0.2 ml of product is all that's required for each side. Whether one uses Restylane or Juvederm is up to you and your surgeon. Restylane is a bit more viscous or thicker and may be more suitable for the tear trough. Juvederm is a bit softer, but can be more hydrophilic--or attract more water. Consult your surgeon to decide what's the best course for you. Take care.

Answer: Tear trough Unless someone is Really deep, I would start with 1cc. Juvederm is not a good filler for the lower lids as it can get very edematous. Use either Restylane or Belotero.
