When can I get a haircut after FUE?

Dear ADJ83Thanks for the question. Although you do want to protect your scalp from the sun after surgery, avoid wearing hats for the first couple weeks. You can get back into the routine of getting a haircut about three weeks after your surgery. If you dye your hair, you can do so again at the end of the first month. I wish you all the best.

It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.  You can get a haircut after your wounds have healed.

Yes its perfectly ok to get a haircut at 2 weeks post op. As long as the grafts have healed in you should be ok. At 4 weeks would definitely be ok. Take care.

You can start using clipper on your donor area, however for your transplanted area wait for 5 more months. You are good to get a trim with scissors 

At 4 weeks, you are or should be completely normal doing anything you nwant to do including a hair cut
