Had a FUE one week ago , but need to take acyclovir for herpes, will this harm my recovery?

Had a FUE one week ago , but need to stat taking acyclovir ( 200 mg x 5 day) , because need to fight a herpes. Is this medication harmful for my hair recovery?

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  Fasting is not good for wound healing.

We typically advise our SmartGraft patients to use baby shampoo for the first 10 days post procedure because of the lack of alcohol in the product. We do not want to dry the new hair follicles out etc...

FUE is just a harvesting method.  It does not relate to results.  If you want to keep your hair very short you may want the FUE.Discuss your goals and expectations with your doctor and have a long term plan.  Even with STRIP or FUE method you will need more than one surgery to achieve your goal...

Smoking is not generally recommended after surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to check with your doctor or quit smoking.Nicotine itself is not the issue.
