It is impossible to give you an idea on final bra cup size without an exam. The results are usually dramatic regardless of your final bra cup size. All bras fit differently, so its impossible to give you any guarantee.
The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified, Double Fellowship-Trained Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon
Neither the uploaded photo nor the information provided is adequate for me to provide an accurate answer on line. Recommend that you schedule an in-office consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of breast procedures annually with favorable patient reviews, and numerous before and after photos on his/her website. If you are seeking medical insurance coverage for the BR, weight reduction may be necessary.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question and photo, The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars. The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc). It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski
Thank you for your questions. The picture is not very helpful unfortunately. If your breasts are large and you think you would benefit from a reduction, then have your primary doctor send a referral to a local board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. Most likely that doctor (or your insurance) will require you to lose weight prior to surgery. It is best to obtain a BMI of 30 or less prior to undergoing surgery. I do not know your height, but guessing an average of 5' 5", this would put your BMI at 43. At that weight, proceeding with surgery would be very unsafe and have a high risk of complications. If your height is 5' 5", you would need to shoot for a goal weight of under 180. This is a significant amount of weight to lose and if you have not considered it before, you may want to look into bariatric (weight loss) surgery.Hope this helps!
Dear carmel mama,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
Thank you for the question and congratulations on your weight loss thus far and your decision to proceed with breast reduction surgery; this operation tends to be one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform. Before undergoing the breast reduction procedure it will be very important to communicate your size goals with your surgeon (who you should choose very carefully). Most patients wish to achieve enough of a reduction to help with their symptoms while remaining proportionate with the remainder of their torso. Show your plastic surgeon, utilizing visual aids such as goal photographs what you would like to achieve. Otherwise the use of terminology alone can be a source of miscommunication. With the goal of improving communication with my patients I find the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or “C or D cup” means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Once you have communicated your goals carefully, your plastic surgeon will be able to provide you thoughts regarding whether your goals are realistic/achievable or whether additional surgery may be necessary to achieve them.Best wishes with your breast reduction procedure; hopefully you will be very pleased with the outcome of the procedure performed.
Thanks for your question, carmel mama. It’s hard to know what your current BMI is without knowing what your height is, but most plastic surgeons would recommend achieving a BMI of 35 or less before undergoing any kind of plastic surgery.I suggest that you continue with your weight loss regimen and try to achieve a weight below 200 pounds before consulting a reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon for breast reduction surgery. It’s possible that losing weight will also naturally decrease the size of your breasts.Best of luck!
I feel that the best way for you to determine this will be to see a physician that performs breast reductions. Your plastic surgeon can inquire of your insurance carrier for precertification prior to the surgery. Most insurance companies have a requirement that a certain amount of grams be ...
That would vary, obviously. Two months seems reasonable, but every situation is different. You did not say how long you were going to be off work. My breast augmentation patients are out for about four days, and tummy tucks are about ten, more if their work is quite physical. You could ask...
