When assessing the jowls, I consider the amount of soft tissue/fat that is contributing to the problem, as apposed to just a skin issue. Threads may suffice but you may prefer to first achieve fat reduction with Kybella or Laser-assisted liposuction (SmartLipo) of the area. The laser does also promote skin tightening. Get a consult with a physician that offers a variety of options alone or in combination.
