I am 8 weeks post-op and need butt implants taken out. Will my skin sag?

Intramuscular butt implants i want and need removed. I have had complications with them and now the left side is so tight i cannot walk properly. Will my skin sag or will it retract because its only 8 weeks post op ? Thanks

Dear Londoner,   Posterior and side view of your buttocks would have been helpful and sorry for your problem with your butt implants.     Without seeing your pictures or examining you, it is difficult to answer your question . If you have good skin tone , most likely you will maintain your pre operative butt  shape . However, I had 2 patients with intra muscular butt  implants that were done by other surgeons and their  implants were removed, that required buttocks lift.    It will be in your best interest to consult with experience board certified plastic surgeons who specializes in butt implants surgery. A rough estimate for the expertise is performance of butt implants surgery on couple hundreds patients. You might discuss with the surgeon the option of corrective surgery , to salvage your desire for fuller and nicer buttocks.                      Best of luck,                                       Dr Widder

at 8 weeks post op your skin should snap right back. No need to worry about the skin sagging at this point.  Be sure to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in this procedure and is well respected in the medical community for it.
