I answered this question allready, but I do not see my answet here. Therefore I just try again: The scars are rather distended than hypertrophic. Therefore local steroids will not help (even opposite efect possible). The scars must still "ripe", which process may take severel weeks or even months. 29y old M, black, generally healthy. I had bilateral gynecomastia surgery with gland excision, liposuction and areola reduction via circum-areola incisions. At 2 weeks, bandages removed, then surgical dehiscence on one side. My chest felt tight for about 6 weeks. I could not raise my arms or sleep on my sides. The side that dehisced now has a hypertrophic scar unresponsive to 3x steroids with CO2 laser. Chest still flat, but both areala appear stretched. Slight indent when arm raised. Help?

Hello, I had a Gyno surgery about 9 months ago, that included removal of mammary glands and liposuction.. I am worried about the scars as shown in the pictures.. They are not painful or itchy at all, but they are raised and somewhat firm. I did use silicon gel after the surgery but stopped about 2 months ago. They are not growing,but they don't seem to shrink either. Please advise.. Thanks..

Well, looking at the pictures it seems to be still to much tension at your scars. The problem is surely solvable, but not by using any ointment. To asses the skin tension and the tension vectors a personall examination is necessary. Best regards Dr. Tribull, Berlin, Germany

One year after my terrible facelift I had my ears done just 3 weeks ago. The (another) surgeon undermined a few centimetres, cut out the scars and my pixie ear, fixed the layers separatly (also to the cartridge to minimise pulling) and it all looked great for the first two weeks... But now, in week 3-4 it started to change exactly like the last time :((( tearing marks are coming out.. What should I do to minimise that? Massage? Taping? Another face lift? When? Please help me, I am so depressed.

Theoretically yes, it could help, but the lower lid allone can not successfully cope with the problem of "heavy cheeks", so that some unpleasant complications can happen afterwards (e.g. ectropium). Hello, I have a huge problem with my nasolabial folds. Despite a deep plane facelift, nothing has changed for me. The wrinkles start on my nose and that's what bothers me the most. Would a lower eyelid lift help? If I hold my lower eyelid up, the wrinkle disappears. many thanks for your help

I'm 25yo female. I It's hard for me to find before and after pics of Breast Augmentations that look like mine, so it's hard to understand what kind of results I can achieve. I've looked at over 500 pics and still can't find a before pic like mine. How wide will my gap be? I recently turned 18 and haven’t noticed any change or further development in my breasts, they’ve been small since I started puberty. I have most of the symptoms but I don’t know if they’re still developing or if I’m in one of the stages of this condition. Sometimes they look normal and other times they don’t.

my breasts (34H) have mild/moderate ptosis and some asymetry. I'm considering breast lift but dont want reduction. I was recently to surgeons consultation on other topic, and I mentioned breast lift. He said when he does lift on large chest he gets rid of 40% of tissue cause if not, weight will sag it again. did he mean that breast lift on large chest cant be done w/o reduction or that it's technically possible but he doesnt do it bcz of risk of sagging again? (he didnt examine me)

Pictures are nice, but let us see your face muscles functioning and the tension of the skin during a consultation in the office. This type can be classified to some degree as oriental. Hello! I'm 23 years old and want to do something about my eye area.
