I think a bath sounds lovely after Coolsculpting. You've been positioned for one hour and you may have some achy muscles so go ahead and enjoy! It won't affect your treatment results.
I appreciate your question. You can take a hot bath or shower that evening The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz
There is no contraindication for taking a hot bath after a CoolSculpting session. Best of luck.
You should not experience any discomfort as a result of taking a nice hot bath nor should you negatively impact your treatment.
You certainly can take a bath after your treatment - hot, cold or just comfortable, your choice. The treatment is completed but it will take a couple of months for you to appreciate the results.
Although it is not written as a contraindication, I would not recommend it. The area treated with coolsculpting is swollen and is typically numb. This numbness will not protect you from too hot a bath or too hot a compress etc. Take a warm shower. Contrary to below, I actually think it may effect your result if you take a hot bath or soak in a hot tub. This blood flow will increase to this area, cause more swelling, and actually potentially diminish the coolsculpting effect on the fat cells.
There are no specific restrictions after CoolSculpting. If you have a little bruising you could make this worse by exercising, taking certain medications such as Advil, or soaking in a hot tub. This is won't affect your results. You should however consult with your treating physician. Ran Y. Rubinstein,MD
I suggest waiting as you are no inflamed and can only make this worse. However, the hot tub may improve the results (see my article in cosmetic surgery times). Its hard to say either way, I suggest you speak to your treating physician. I would said wait a week until the healing has occurred from the procedure. Best, Dr. Emer.
There should not be a problem taking a hot bath after a CoolSculpting treatment, but it is always best to check with the physician who treated you since he or she is responsible for your care.
Thank you for the question. As far as I know there are no contraindications in getting hot bath or getting in hot tub but to be on safe side I wiould recommend to wait for one week.Hope this helps.Good luck
