I have minimal lines/wrinkles but too much laxity. Area of concern is midface. Skin under eyes/upper cheek starting to drop, causing under eye hollows and nasolabial folds to increase. I want a subtle lift and to look more taut. I need to increase fat/collagen, and be careful not to cause fat loss or melt collagen from heat devices. Would you suggest microcurrent, radio frequency, lasers, ultrasound, other? Fillers make me nervous for the long term. Thoughts?

Answer: Recommend doing Ultherapy to help give a lift and more youthful look. Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As we age, collagen breaks down, resulting in loss of skin strength and elasticity. For tissue tightening, Ultherapy is ideal for the lower face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Morpheus8 to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Considering options From the photos you appear to have a loss of volume and skin laxity. You will have the best result from a surgical face lift. If you are considering only nonsurgical options you can consider FaceTite which uses RF technology to tighten skin. Results can be enhanced with Morpheus8 treatments to address overall skin tone and texture. Fillers would be a consideration to help restore volume.
