Hi I'm 24 years old, as you can see from my photo I look considerably younger. This bothers me so much. I feel that I have a very small round shaped face which lacks cheekbone and chin bone. Are there any treatments that would be an option. Thanks

Rhinoplasty would make your bulky nose tip and dorsum more refined and thinner which will contribute to elongation effect of central vertical third of your face. Conservative removal of buccal fat from your cheek would create more narrow appearance of horizontal middlel third of the face. Finally, a small chin implant may contribute to actual elongation and further narrowing of the lower third of your face. Answer: Lower Facial Elongation The best method to elongate your lower face is with a vertical lengthening bony genioplasty. Your chin is flat across the bottom and vertically short. Lengthening your chin by 8 to 10mms would give your face more of a heart-shape. You could even combine facial defatting with it to add to the effect as well.

Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, facial implants (cheek, chin), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years. Non smiling photos of your face from the front and side would be the best for evaluation. Smiling photos push facial fat up onto the cheeks changing their shape and fullness. From the photos, I suspect that your cheeks are flat in the front, there is excess fat in the mid and lower face, the lips are quite thin and the nose is a bit wide along its entire length. From the smiling front photos, its difficult to determine if the chin is indeed weak but this can be verified with a non smiling side (profile) photos. These factors combine to create a rectangularly shaped face.
