Can I get liposuction over my rib cage? (Photo)

For your case I recommend vaser and microaire combination. In this combination; vaser (ultrasonic liposuction) is used for liquifying the fat and microaire (power assisted liposuction) is used for aspiration. J plasma can be used for skin tightening With this combination your belt region will get slimmer .

Hi!Thanks for the question!You can absolutely receive a liposuction around the Rib Cage.Looking at just the photos and with my observation it seems like you should be a good candidate for liposuction. Make a appointment with a plastic surgery center and get a full exam and explain your past procedures before continuing. That is very important for the surgeon to know, to see what revision your performing. We as surgeons often divide the body into the upper and lower regions. The upper region is the area you are concerned with and it can hold alot of layers of fat that can be removed.

Thank you for your question. Its hard to say without examination, However based on your photos you can benefit from Liposuction.

Not only is it possible to do liposuction over the rib cage it should be done as part of treating the abdomen or torso.

When treating the upper abdomen the upper limit should be the inframammary fold. I typically view the torso as a single anatomic unit when it comes to liposuction and try to treat all of the torso going right up to the side of the breast on all aspects but primarily emphasizing fat removal from at 2o’clock position to a 7 o’clock position.(on Left breast from onlookers perspective or 4 o’clock to 10 o’clock on the right breast).

Different plastic surgeons have wildly different views of where to stop, what’s included or how they approach treating the torso.

I like to treat the entire torso which is basically everything from the collarbones to the hip dip with the exception of the breasts themselves and the front of the chest.

You need to find the right provider who gets your concern. To do that you may need to have multiple in person consultations.
