If you are dieting and exercising then 3 months is a good time to get your Liposuctioning done. Liposuction will help motivate you even more when you lose that pouch and saddle bags through local anesthesia tumescent technique lipo with the micro canulas. Good Luck.
Thank you for your question. You must wait at least 6 months to 1 year to have a liposuction procedure. I would suggest to be treated by board certificated plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Kind Regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Once you are at a stable weight. This may not be at your baseline weight but at a weight that you are comfortable at. Once you achieve this then going in for liposuction is fine. Remember, liposuction is not for weight loss and works best to address the problem areas.Good luck.
Thank you for the question! Most doctors recommend waiting at least six months to one year after pregnancy before undergoing liposuction. Remember that you should strive to attain a stable weight prior to this procedure, so make sure to resume a healthy and active lifestyle to reduce any excess weight you might have gained during pregnancy. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your situation and guarantee an individualized medical advice. Best of luck!
This is a very popular question. Liposuction should be delayed until you are back to your base line weight. This may be 6 months or longer after your pregnancy. I would not rush into this until your weight is stable and you have stopped breast feeding.
You should reach a stable weight first. After that you see a plastic surgeon. He/She will go over the concerns you have and examine you. You then discuss what you options are and the positives and negatives of each. After pregancy the body goes through lots of changes so don't be surprised if liposuctioning is not the best thing for your problem.
Dear ck,Your questions raises several OTHER questions:What were your height / weight and BMI BEFORE this pregnancy and what are they at this time? What makes you think that Liposuction is the best option for body contouring your post-pregnancy body would require? Are you planning on having OTHER babies after this pregnancy?Liposuction is strictly a superficial shaping operation. It will NOT correct skin looseness or the permanent stretching of the abdominal muscles that accompanies pregnancy. To correct these conditions would require a Tummy Tuck - A liposuction will remove, at most, 5 liters of fat and may leave you with more loose skin.If you are done having children and are not obese (BMI more than 30), you would do well with a Tummy Tuck. If you are very tones and wants some persistent love handles or saddle bags removed you would do well with liposuction.I would meet with a reputable FRCS Plastic surgeon and see what he/she suggests before making up your mind. I totally agree with Dr. Aldea in that you should first get to you pre-pregnancy weight before being evaluated for body contouring. You should be done having children and need to be ready to hear the truth from real plastic surgeons that you might need more than liposuction to get your best result since liposuction won't work well with skin that has lost elasticity from the stretching of pregnancy.
In my experience umbilical hernia repair can be performed via a peri-umbilical semicircular incision. In cases of a small hernia all it takes is several buried permanent sutures carefully placed in the rectus fascia. Once the hernia is repaired the Liposuction can then be performed via the...
Liposuctioning around the buttocks can really improve the shape of the butt and is so worth it when doing hips and thighs with it. It can be done under local only and has a very quick recovery time.
Thanks for the question. It’s too early to comment over the result. First couple of weeks after the surgery you can back to work and couple of weeks later your permanent recovery will start. It’s possible to see some major changes in Liposuction results till the end of 12 months recovery....
