Will a lip lift benefit me as I have a lot of space between my lip and nose? (Photos)

I'm wondering if a lip lift will benefit me. I also have an overjet/overbite that caused the protrusion but I think it's genetics I'm planning to get braces for soon. This makes me self conscious as I feel I look like a very young, old lady.

A lip lift will not necessarily give you a more prominent lip tubercle. Filler can be carefully placed to achieve this effect.

The distance between your nose and upper lip appears to be quite long. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would be a candidate for a lip lift. Best...

Asymmetry is very common. You have slight asymmetry of your lips. This can be corrected by using a lip lift on one side only to elevate a few millimeters to correct the asymmetry. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
