Possible to Have Lip Lift While Awake?

Is it possible to have lip lift surgery while the patient is awake with just some numbing injections at the site? Also what is the down time. I was hoping to return to work the next day if possible. I can't see being down for long due to stiches under my nose. Thanks

You are currently at the peak of healing and firm scar tissue is to be expected at this point in time. Do not be in distress. It is normal and typical and will likely resolve. However, do not expect any significant softness in the tissues until after 6 weeks.

Measure the distance between the base of the nostrils and the red part of your lip. If it is more than 1.5 centimeters you could get a good result. If you hold your mouth slightly open and the upper front teeth don't show, lip lift would definitely help. Check out the video below and the web...
