Ive started to research lip lifts as I have a 20mm philtrum - however I like the size and shape of my lips Is it advised to do this in my case? I am also considering a chin implant as I have a recessed chin and am wondering if that alone would provide enough balance.
All of the great poor botched people being vandalized after a lip lift are screaming inside every day for a solution for this Is there any amazing surgeon out there with a solution? After searching for weeks the only thing I can find is stretching manually and filler in the lip.
hi more than a year ago I had a very unsuccessful lip lift I was left with a huge wide scar on one side deep and. very short distance between the nose and the lip 10 cm in the middle and 9 on the side and I understand that if I remove the scar then the lips will not close. I am thinking of skin grafting in place of the scar but I am not sure if this will give a good result I would like to have a 12 cm philtrum and remove scar. What can be done?
I have never had any procedures, I am currently being treated with Invisalign for my teeth and bite alignment as I have a slight over bite. I am self conscious regarding the visibility of my nostrils and the philtrum area under my nose, it's very sloped and my upper lip is not visible. I would like recommendations on whether it's possible to make this look better in a non-surgical way? Or is surgery the only option? Thankyou!
I dislike the shape of my philtrum. It is parallel and deep, was wondering if it was possible to change it to a more triangular shape, either through a lip lift procedure or a rhinoplasty? Couldn't find anything online. Thanks
Hi, I am going to book in a revision rhinoplasty and septoplasty; however I want to shorten the length of my philtrum so was considering a lip lift. I have tooth show when my mouth is on repose however some before and after photos I have seen of people who have had lip lifts have had similar without a HUGE amount of tooth show. Is there a way a combination of both the rhinoplasty and lip lift could be used together for an effective result of reducing my philtrum length.
I am a 36/F interested in shortening the philtrum but have a long history of keloid/hypertrophic scarring. I was hoping I would age out of this tendency but after a minor surgery site from last month started to raise, I sadly still scar badly. I have naturally pillowy and cupid's bow lip with keyhole pout so wouldn't want to alter my lips other than subtle fullness to combat natural aging process . What are my options?
I had bullhorn on 1 November . Philthrum 17 mm. Removed 4mm. On 3 November discovered I have infection and pus. This slowed down my healing very badly . 9 November removed stitches but the wounds did not heal fully hence re- stitched again for it to heal properly . Due to remove stitches on 16 November . From the attached photos , do you think the healing will be good ? Is co2 better for scarring or silicon tape ? If I want to redo due to a bad scar (if any) , when is the earliest ?
