My sons dermatologist has put him on Acutane (30 mg. a day). I have read it stunts growth in teens. He is 12 and this is concerning to me. He has used Solodyn for about 6 months along with Epiduo. Then Aczone was added to his regime about three months ago. The regime seemed to work but he continued to have breakouts and now has scarring. We would take scarring over any possible long term physical damage. What would you recommend? Is there something else we could try and is he to young?
