2 weeks post-op tumescent lipo on neck. Doctor removed 70ml of fat, so I had a large, genetic double chin. (Photos)

I know I still have swelling, but it's so uneven and ropey-like. My doctor says NO massage...is he wrong? I hope the front is swelling of the omohyoids/sternohyoids/mylohyoids or something, but the side, jowl swelling - could this be fat? I'm really scared this is permanent as my Dr. said NOT to massage and to stop wearing the compression garment, yet I see SO MANY Dr. responses who say YES to massage, etc. My follow up with him is in 2 1/2 wks. I'm 46.
