I Would Like to Have Breast Implants, but I Just Can Never Afford Financing, is There Any Way to It Without Financing It?

I see everyday, woman getting implants, they don't work, there younger then I am, yet my husband and I both work and get afford to finance, it's not right. I am 53 years old and my kids are grown up and on there own.

The first step is to have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. There are different surgical options, even with a straight forward breast augmentation. Therefore, the prices will vary.  Many people in Las Vegas, (and indeed everywhere), had problems with the downturn in the economy.  Things are looking much better, but some people are still working through the aftermath.  We are used to this question.  In our office, we do financing.  We go through CareCredit.  There are other companies, and every office is different.  Talk to the board certified plastic surgeon's office manager.  They will let you know the policies of that particular practice.  You may be able to work out something.

Thanks for your question.  If you wish to avoid financing, many people set aside a fixed amount of money each week.  This is often placed into a dedicated bank account.  One alternative is seeking a plastic surgery residency program that provides low cost surgery performed by residents under an attending surgeon's supervision.  Best of luck.

	Thank you for your post.  I think setting aside whatever money you can per week in an account that is not used for anything else may get you there eventually, also, resident clinics at teaching hospitals also do these surgeries for quite a discounted price.

If financing is not an option for you and this is important to you, I would suggest you and your husband create a weekly savings plan. Save a small amount every week and once you've gotten close to the amount needed for your procedure - you'll be ready for your transformation! Good luck.

I am not entirely sure I get the gist of the question. If you are asking if there is a way to get implants at no charge, I think that rather unlikely. If a surgeon charges a total fee of say $6,000, three-fourths of that will go to cover implants, operatory, anesthesia, and office overhead. 

	Some university hospitals offer lower cost at a plastic surgery residents' clinic, and if you are near that might be your best option to consider. All the best.
