You should ask your surgeon whether terbinafine is fine before your breast augmentation. You should discuss any medications you are taking with your doctor prior to your surgery as sometimes instructions are different for each surgeon. Good luck!
Dear Canada, Toe nail fungus infection is not a life threatening condition, so, if you were my patient, I would have recommended to you to stop the medication one week before surgery and resume it after surgery. The reason for it is that Lamisil (terbinafine ) can cause liver damage and the combination with anesthesia drugs can amplify it. I am not aware of any studies about the subject, but why take an unnecessary risk. Always, play it safe. All the best, Dr Widder
Hello canadajo. Every surgeon has a list of medications patients should not take around the time of their breast augmentation surgery. I cannot answer for your PS. Please seek their advice next time you speak with them. Best wishes on your upcoming surgery, Dr. ALDO.

I typically do a breast reduction of the sagging breast tissue in addition to a breast lift - this can be combined with breast augmentation to reshape the breast into a less saggy and more attractive composite.
Thanks for your question. I would not be too worried at this point post-op. The final result of a breast augmentation is normally apparent 3 months after surgery. I would recommend speaking to your surgeon and seeking his advice. All the best,Dr. JSB

Thanks for your question. I am so sorry you feel this way. The final result of a breast augmentation is normally apparent about 3 months post-op. Give your breasts some more time to heal. If over time you are still unhappy, speak to your PS about your concerns. All the best,Dr. JSB
