What should I do to treat the bumps on my face after a beard transplant? (photos)

Question

On July 2016 I had a beard transplant that left visible bumps where the grafts were placed. Once a month they ask for photos update but the'r not telling me what to do with bumps. Lately she told me to buy a scrub to improve the healing but it's not working. Also the scars in my donor area are still visible! I did the surgery in Turkey but I live in UK, so we just text. They keep saying I must wait but the problem is that there's no improvement!! Could I solve that with a laser therapy?? Thanks

It does appear that each of the graft sites are inflamed. I'm not sure if laser therapy, a low potency steroid cream, or a long round of antibiotics would effectively treat the issue but I think it's best to see a dermatologist.

It is best to keep in contact with your doctor and address any complication or issues with your doctor.  If you are not happy with the progress or treatment it is best to see another doctor in person.  Internet is not a place to receive treatment advice since there is no examination, follow up, or a way to prescribe medications.  You need an examination first before thinking about treatment options.

ıf they made the channels that grafts to put in with a punch , that means those are tiny scars and you may need a CO2 laser treatment .I dont think so thhis clinic is an infection

You have developed folliculitis and it needs to be treated quickly with warm compresses and antibiotics or it will negatively impact your results and leave scars.

The bumps you are referring to show up very well in the photo. It reflects that the grafts were elevated at the time the beard was transplanted and the skin healed elevated. There is nothing much you can do about this surgical error.

Hello, We are hearing a lot of bad news coming out of procedures done in Turkey. Turkey though has wonderful surgeons. Anyway, getting to the point, You have this condition because the grafts that were extracted were done so using bigger punches, thus more skin was present on the grafts. Normally in beard transplant we would like to trim the skin off the grafts. This excess skin takes up as a skin graft leading to these small mountains. This is a very difficult problem to solve. If it was on the scalp, i would suggest to implant more and increase the density around the mountain. Here, maybe the best solution would be to use CO2 or Erbium laser to reduce the skin component of the graft. this is going to be a tough solution
