Hi im quite concerned i have 2 areas that are still bleeding almost 2 1/2 weeks after surgery does this look like necrosis, i see my doctor in 1 week , saw him last week and he did not seem concerned ,also is this much yellowing normal

Hello! At two and a half weeks post op this is not uncommon to have some minimal bleeding or old blood seeping through the fresh incision. You can gently clean it with some mild soap and water or salt water and keep it dry. It is always best to follow up with your surgeon in regards to your specific post op care and concerns. In early cases, with over 25 years experience, I have been able wash out the infection, put the implant back in, and there has been a 50-50 chance of success....in many cases you need to remove the implant and come back and put a new one after it is healed and waiting three months at least.
