Which laser is best suited for east Asian skin

Question

Hello! I am of Chinese descent with light coloured skin in the winter and olive ish skin in the summer with black medium length hair (not super coarse nor super fine). I'm interested in laser hair removal and I'm debating between 2 clinics in my area. One offers the gentle max pro and the other a diolaze laser and I'm not too sure which one would be best suited for me. Thank you!

There is always a risk with using lasers on Asian skin.  Be sure you understand the risks.   Find a provider that also takes this very seriously and has experience using these lasers.  It not necessarily the laser of choice, it's choosing a provider you trust.  Best of luck to you!

From my experience this laser is very effective and safe, this would be best suited for your needs. It sounds like you have Asian type 4 skin.  This skin type is best treated with the Gentlemax pro using the alex platform for hair removal.  It would be best to get a pretreatment test spot 24 hours before to assess for any adverse skin reactions first.  Make sure that you go to a provider with a lot of experience in your skin type and a lot of experience with lasers.
