I have old keloids scars on and near my knee area and elbow areas that I’d like to lessen the appearance of. I know certain lasers could cause more harm than good, so I’d like to know any treatment options I should consider. I have no idea if I should go to a dermatologist, laser center, my regular physician or another medical professional. I am African American with olive to medium dark skin tone (depending on my sun exporsure).
