My right implant isn't dropping.. I got a BA March 31st and I feel like it's probably not going to drop like my left one. I am right handed.. but I'm not sure if that matters.. I got 465 cc's saline implants under the muscles.. has anyone ever seen this ??? And did they need a revision surgery ? The picture in the brown bra is fresh out of surgery and the other two pictures are of today 6 weeks and 2 days.
Answer: 6 Weeks Post Op Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. The whole drop & fluff process may take between 2-6 months. You have rather large implants for your frame and currently they both appear to be sitting high- which is expected. They do not always drop at the same rate. I recommend that you try to be patient and wait to see them settle in and balance out over the next few months. All the best

Answer: Right implant not dropping - worried. 6 weeks post-op. Thank you for your pictures and questions. While I can appreciate the asymmetry in the pictures, it is important to remember that you are only 6 weeks out from surgery. With submuscular implants, it can often take 3-4 months for things to fully settle and for your final results to become visible. I would advise you to follow closely with your plastic surgeon and be patient.Best of luck!

Answer: Right implant higher Thank you for your question and photos. From what I can see, you do have more fullness on your right side. This could be due to asymmetric swelling, or your implant sitting slightly higher. You are still very early in the healing process and may have more spasm on that side, causing the implant to ride higher. Best to check with your surgeon as they may recommend implant displacement (massage) exercises or have you use a breast band to place gentle downward pressure. It is way too early to worry about a revision surgery. Good luck.

Answer: Breast Augmentation - Post Op Swelling? Thank you for your question. You are still early in the post-operative period. It typically takes 3 - 6 months for the swelling to subside and and implants to settle into proper position. Please discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon. Also, make sure you follow all of your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions regarding level of physical activity and use of a support bra. Hope this helps and good luck with your recovery.

Answer: Implant not dropping Implants can take awhile to settle and drop and 6 weeks is still very early for implants placed under the muscle. It will take a while for your chest muscle to relax and allow the implant to drop, this can take as long as six months. Massage may help in assisting your implant which your surgeon can teach you. Revision surgery is not necessary at this time. Good luck.
