Had a horrible experience with a doctor 2 years ago that promised to keep scarring to a minimum after augmentation/lift. He promised to do lollipop lift if needed possibly a j shaped curve that was hidden underneath the breast. Well the scar now goes all the way from my breast to my rib cage. Cannot hide it with regular bikini.
Answer: Vbeam laser treatment can help defuse the redness Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. Topical skincare should be directed to a specific need, whether for pigmentation or hypertrophy and our office can guide you through the process to obtain the correct Plato’s Scar cream or Melarase cream for hypertrophy and discoloration. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. All of these have their individual benefits. Most of all, we recommend you visit a solid plastic surgeon who understands surgical scar revision, laser therapy, and RF therapy for scars. Answer: Breast lift scars Thank you for your question and photos. Unfortunately scars cannot be removed. We can sometimes make scars look better if they are wide and often lasers can help to take color out of a scar if it is too pink or red. Your "J" scar is unfortunately quite low as you pointed out. There is really no way to "pull" the scar up.

Answer: Is there a way to fix/hide this breast lift scar? Thank you for the photos. Unfortunately, this is a poorly planned and placed incision and it is permanent. It seems that your surgeon did not fully understand the concept of the lollipop incision augmentation/lift. Often, there's some extra skin pucker at the base of the lollipop incision in the breast crease, but this almost always goes away. I tell my patients, that if it is not gone in 6 months, I remove this under local anesthesia without a J-incision or carrying the scar into the lower or lateral chest wall/upper abdomen. Unfortunately, a scar is permanent, but they do tend to get better over time and become less noticeable.
