Am I a candidate for a lip lift procedure?

The distance of 20 millimeters is much too long.  The ideal distance is 12-14 millimeters and I would recommend a lip lift.  A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Thank you for your question. It does appear you would be a good candidate for a lip lift, but wait until  your filler is gone to pursue this procedure. A lip lift can increase your upper lip show, eliminating your need for ongoing filler treatments to achieve the desired effect. Make sure you work with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has performed many lip lifts and has the expertise and experience to customize your treatment for the best possible results. 

if you want more tooth show a lip lift may be indicated. Your lips have filler now and I would suggest you wait until the filler is gone. At that time get evaluated by a very experienced lip lift surgeon who can show you many natural results. Also in my opinion an M type lip lift is much preferred over the bull horn which can leave a natural scarring around the outside of the nose
